Casting Roundup: Kevin Spacey, Zachary Quinto, Pierce Brosnan, Philip Seymour Hoffman and More

There's a lot of great actors that have been cast in some films recently and here's a little roundup of who is being cast in what.

Kevin Spacey, Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci and Carla Gugino will star in writer/director J.C. Chandor's Margin Call.

The film is set in an investment bank during a tumultuous 24 hours during the 2008 financial collapse.

Producing are Quinto, Neal Dodson and Corey Moosa -- all three are partners in Before the Doors Pictures, as well as Joe Jenckes and Benaroya Pictures' Michael Benaroya and Robert Ogden Barnum.

Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robin Wright are in early talks to join Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill in Columbia Pictures' upcoming film MoneyBall, which was originally supposed to be directed by Steven Soderbergh.

The film is now being directed by  Capote director Bennett Miller which will re-team him with Hoffman.

The film is based on Michael Lewis' nonfiction bestseller Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, the book's subject is Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane, who assembled a contending baseball club on a shoestring budget by employing a sophisticated computer-based analysis to draft players. Wright would portray Beane's ex-wife.

Filming is scheduled to start this July in Los Angeles.

Pierce Brosnan, Billy Bob Thornton, Maria Bello and Giovanni Ribisi will star in director Walter Hill's new film St. Vincent.

The movie follows a hitman (Brosnan) who goes undercover as a priest to get close to his target, a gangland traitor (Thornton). The hitman soon discovers that playing the good guy is more dangerous than being a mob killer.

Hill (48 Hours, Southern Comfort) begins filming the crime thriller in Detroit on July 12 from a script by Cameron Young.
