Jemaine Clement Cast as Villain in MEN IN BLACK III
Before today, Will Smith was the only actor officially attached to star in Men in Black III. Well, he's no longer alone in this film production. Columbia Pictures and director Barry Sonnenfeld have cast the villain Yaz in the movie, that villain will be played by Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement. There is no official word yet on Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin joining the movie, but I'm sure they'll work something out if they haven't already.
At one point Sacha Baron Cohen was up for the role of Yaz as well, but I think Clement will make a great alien villain. He even looks like a Yaz! The sequel has been put on the fast track to production, so before you know it, we are going to be sitting in the movie theater watching Men in Black III in 3D. Or maybe you wont, I guess it depends on if you're excited for the movie or not. The film is set to open up on May 25 2012.
