Hey Geeky Tyrants! I hope everyone is having a great day. There's not too many movies coming out this week but there's a few really good ones!

Today is the last day for this contest so hurry and enter! Here's how: All you need to do is Tweet the reason YOU should be part of the Mystery Team! Don't forget the hashtag  #WinMysteryTeam so you can be placed in the drawing!

Mystery Team

At age 7, pint-sized sleuths Jason, Duncan and Charlie solved all manner of kiddie mysteries in Oakdale. Now, at 18, the Mystery Team is about to leave their Encyclopedia Brown-style tactics in the dust with their latest case: a real murder. High jinks ensue in this goofy, fast-paced caper comedy written by and starring Donald Glover, D.C. Pierson and Dominic Dierkes. The film premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

Starring: Donald Glover, D.C. Pierson
Director: Dan Eckman

This movie is so funny! Donald Glover is amazing and for those of you that have never seen him in anything before check out the show Community. He is one of the funniest parts about that show! A must see movie!

True Blood: Season 2

Telepathic waitress Sookie (Anna Paquin) attempts to solve a recent murder and sort out several issues with her vampire boyfriend, Bill (Stephen Moyer), including how to deal with his annoying teenage houseguest, Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll). Season two of this critically acclaimed vampire series features new characters, including Iraq war veteran Terry (Todd Lowe) and mysterious social worker Maryann (Michelle Forbes).

Starring: Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer
Director: Michael Lehmann

Love this show with a passion! If you have not gotten a chance to see it before you should totally start watching it now! The shows acting is amazing, the story is great and it's heading for it's third season on HBO. It's not a teenybopper show either. The show is definitely meant for adult viewing.

The Road

From the ash-covered, post-apocalyptic remains of Appalachia, the Father (Viggo Mortensen) and Son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) take to the road in search of a better life. But the Father's health is failing, lending urgency to a journey impeded by nomadic bands of cannibals. Charlize Theron co-stars in this adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, set in a fictional near future in which the world has been virtually destroyed.

Starring: Viggo Mortensen, Kodi Smit-McPhee
Director: John Hillcoat

This movie was a little slower then I thought but it was still awesome! Viggo Mortensen was great and the the way the world was blew my mind. I think if there was no crops or food that we would in fact turn into canibals or eat our pets. (Which would suck!) The son in the movie played by Kodi Smit-McPhee was a great little actor too. Totally worth watching.

Dear John

While on leave, U.S. soldier John Tyree (Channing Tatum) falls for Southern college student Savannah (Amanda Seyfried), whose ideals and heartfelt principles are at once attractive and unfamiliar. But their love is put on hold when terrorist attacks prompt John to reenlist. Now, handwritten letters hold the lovers together. Lasse Hallstrom directs this modern romance based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks.

Starring: Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried
Director: Lasse Hallström

Nicholas Sparks always kicks my butt when it comes to love stories. This one is no different. Have a tissue and get ready to go on a roller coaster of emotions when watching this.

Stolen

Investigating the mystery behind the mummified, half-century-old remains of a young boy found in a box at a construction site gives a detective (Jon Hamm) key clues to his own son's disappearance eight years prior. Unfolding through flashbacks, this mystery-thriller from director Anders Anderson also stars Josh Lucas, James Van Der Beek, Jessica Chastain, Rhona Mitra, Jimmy Bennett and Beth Grant.

Starring: Josh Lucas, Jon Hamm
Director: Anders Anderson

No chance to watch it but if anyone has please leave me a review. I will say though that I do love Josh Lucas.

Those were the main titles coming out this week now on to the smaller titles and Blu-Ray releases.
