Crank Directors Neveldine and Taylor Confirmed for GHOST RIDER 2

Like it or not, Ghost Rider 2 starring Nicolas Cage is going to be made, and it's been confirmed that Crank directors Neveldine and Taylor will direct the film. The confirmation came from Nic Cage himself on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He told ferguson that "there's gonna be a new one," and that he "just made the deal today."

I wasn't a big fan of the first Ghost Rider film, and I have absolutely no desire to see a sequel. Neveldine and Taylor are known for making these over the top fun adrenaline fueled films, so maybe they will be a good thing for the Ghost Rider film franchise. I doubt they will take the film to the extremes of Crank and Crank 2, but that would at least be interesting regardless of how bad it is.

The sequel to the film is tentatively called Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Who knows, maybe it will end up being better than the first film.
