DreamWorks Picks up Zack Galifianakis Comedy and a New 'Between Two Ferns' with Steve Carell

DreamWorks Pictures has struck a deal with comedian Zack Galifianakis, and bought a movie pitch from him called Reply All. Galifianakis will produce and star in the film, which is set to be written by Phil Johnston who most recently wrote a film called Cedar Rapids for Searchlight Pictures. 

The movie sounds like it has potential to be a pretty funny comedy. Galifianakis will play the lead character in the film who hits the "reply all" button to an indiscreet e-mail, and then has to deal with the repercussions.

Galifianakis can next be seen in Dinner for Schmucks. After that he's got a couple other movies coming out such as a comedy called It's Kind of a Funny Story, and then there is the Todd Phillips-directed film with Robert Downey Jr. Due Date. He will then reprise his role in the sequel to The Hangover.
