Random House Releases Trailer for Tim Kring and Dale Peck's SHIFT

A trailer has been released for Heroes’ creator Tim Kring and Dale Peck’s book collaboration, Shift. Set in the 1960s, the tome tells the story of Chandler Forrestal, a man forced to suffer through a CIA mind control experiment using LSD. Much to the chagrin of the agency, Forrestal develops a “frightening array” of mental powers and discovers that members of the government may be involved in a conspiracy to assassinate President Kennedy.

Add ex-Nazi scientists, Lee Harvey Oswald, and Timothy Leary to the mix and you’ve got one over-the-top sounding adventure that will likely be more entertaining that the final season of Heroes. Shift will be available for purchase on August 10.
