Jessica Alba to Star in SPY KIDS 4 Reboot

Movie Jessica Alba by Joey Paur

Robert Rodriguez is moving forward with the development of Spy Kids 4: All The Time in the World, and Jessica Alba is currently in negotiations to take on the lead female role in the film.

I'm not not the biggest Spy Kids fan, the movies have just been poorly made in my opinion. But Dimension Studio's and Rodriguez are looking to completely reboot the series, which I don't think will make the series any better. Banderas, Vega and Sabara will mostly likely return in supporting roles.

The new movie centers on Alba as a retired spy who has been reactivated. The actress, mother of a toddler in real life, will be playing the mother of a baby and two preteen stepchildren who will end up being the new Spy Kids.

Other roles that need to be filled include Alba’s characters husband, who is described as a slightly nerdy investigative reporter, and the villain, known as the Time Keeper, whose goal it is to stop time.

The film will be shot in Austin Texas for less than $30 million dollars next month, and of course it will be in 3D.

What do you all think of this new Spy Kids reboot?
