HBO has officially announced that their hit series Entourage will come to a close in the summer of 2011. HBO programming president Michael Lombardo said that "Next summer will definitely be the final season," but added that the shows creator Doug Ellin still may end up writing a feature-length Entourage film. He also says that Ellin has pitched the HBO network some ideas for another new series that he may end up working on soon. The final season also seems to have been shortened to only six episodes.
As much as I've enjoyed watching Entourage, I think it's about time the show came to an end, I just hope they end it on a high note. As for a feature-film being made... if they can do it effectively cool, but I still don't really see the need for one.
What do you all thin about the series coming to an end, and the possibility of a Entourage big screen adventure?
