Two Behind the Scenes videos for Gareth Edwards' MONSTERS

I can't wait to watch this movie! Gareth Edwards' low budget sci-fi film Monsters is currently playing OnDemand, so if you want to watch it you can! I still haven't seen it yet because I'm waiting to watch it on the big screen when it hits theaters on October 29th. I might not be able to contain myself though, I think there's a possibility I'll find myself really board sometime within the next month. You know what... I'm not going to wait, I'll be watching this film sooner than I thought.

As we've discussed before, the film was supposedly shot on a $15,000 budget until it got additional funding to finish the special effects. These behind the scenes videos gives us a look at what it was like filming this movie on such a small budget. Anyone interested in filmmaking should definitely check this featurette out.

Synopsis:

Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America.

Soon after, new life forms began to appear there and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"...

Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
