Wow. I really don't even know what to say about this. Uwe Boll isn't really known for making good films, and he's made a lot of bad decisions in his career, but this is probably his worst.
Boll has made a film called Auschwitz in which he himself plays a Nazi officer who is guarding a gas chamber full of Jews in mid-execution... wow. Boll said in an interview:
It's in the tradition of my movies Stoic, Darfur, Rampage, Tunnelrats, Heart of America...it shows Auschwitz as this what it was: a meatplant for humans...a death factory.
It's one thing to make a movie about these events respectfully and tastefully like it's been done many times in the past. But it looks like Boll turned it into an exploitation type film. The trailer for the film looks like a grindhouse movie!
It's always been fun to joke around about how Boll is such a terrible filmmaker and bag on is movies, but I think he's taken his career to a whole new level that is beyond making jokes. This just seems wrong.
If you want to watch the trailer here it is. What do you all think about Boll's latest film project?
