Director Jon Favreau has confirmed via his twitter account that we will see a Super Bowl commercial for his upcoming sci-fi film Cowboys & Aliens. Here's what he had to say,

We've also heard recently that some other movie TV spots during the game could include 20th Century Fox's summer films X-Men: First Class and Caesar: Rise of the Apes, but thats not official yet. There are usually a good amount of great movie trailers that show durrng the big game, which is seriously one of the only reasons I watch it. I'm not a big sports guy.

Cowboys & Aliens stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, Noah Ringer,Keith Carradine, Clancy Brown, Ana de la Reguera and Abigail Spencer. The awesome looking film is set to come out in theaters on July 29, 2011.
