CAESAR: RISE OF THE APES Release Date gets Pushed back to Thanksgiving

Hey gang! I just want to quickly let you all know that 20th Century Fox has pushed the release date of Caesar: Rise of the Apes from June 24th 2011 to November 23rd... Thanksgiving weekend. This movie will resurrect the the Planet of the Apes franchise. Hey, it can't be any worse than Tim Burton's attempt.

The film stars James Franco, John Lithgow, Freida Pinto, Brian Cox and Andy Serkis, and it's being directed by Rupert Wyatt.

The film is Set in present day San Francisco, and it deals with the aftermath of man's experiments with genetic engineering that lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. A chimp named Caesar (Serkis) leads the uprising among the apes after having been raised by Lithgow and Franco's father-and-son scientist characters.
