The TV HULK Design will be the same from THE AVENGERS

TV HulkThe Avengers by Joey Paur

As you know Marvel is working with Guillermo del Toro and ABC to bring us a new TV series based on The Incredible Hulk. Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb showed up at New York Comic Con this weekend and talked about the Hulk TV series and what we will see. It seems like the Marvel movie universe that's been created will be connected to the the Marvel TV universe that they are developing.

While talking about the Hulk, Leob said that the most recent trailer released for The Avengers gave us our first look at what the Hulk will look like on TV. Marvel is basically trying to cut costs where ever they can and also give fan the best quality show they can. Marvels been known to do stuff like this. Loeb went on to say "that Marvel will be pushing the technology to its limit. That apparently means that all the intensive CGI modeling and design work that is being done for the movie Hulk will be recycled for the TV version." So basically they will be recycling the Hulk design, which is fine, at least it will have awesome production value.

Just because they are using the design doesn't mean actor Mark Ruffallo will be joining the TV series, because he wont. Loeb reiterated the fact that the series is a different take on the Hulk. It will focus more on the relationship between Betty Ross and Bruce at the very beginning of the Hulk's existence, before the Hulk becomes known to the world. So they will basically cast a younger actor to fill the role of Bruce Banner.

IGN caught up with Marvel president Kevin Fiege and asked him about the possibility of a of Marvel movies and TV shows having a shared universe, and he told them that it could happen. But I guess anything could happen. The other live-action shows that are in development at Marvel include A.K.A. Jessica Jones (featuring Jones, Carol Danvers and Luke Cage), Cloak and Dagger, set in post-Katrina New Orleans and featuring "science, the supernatural and the environment",  and Mockingbird which will have a S.H.I.E.L.D. tie-in.

What do you all think about the possibility of a shared Marvel TV and Film universe?
