Bill Murray joins Roman Coppola's A GLIMPSE INSIDE THE MIND

Bill Murray is set to work with another member of the Coppola clan. Variety reports that the Lost in Translation star (directed by Sofia Coppola) will star in Roman Coppola's A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. Murray will star alongside Patricia Arquette, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Charlie Sheen, Jason Schwartzman, Aubrey Plaza and Katheryn Winnick. Coppola wrote, directed and is producing the film with Youree Henley. Filming is currently under way in Los Angeles.

Sheen stars in the title role as "a successful graphic designer whose fame, money and charm have made him irresistible to women. When his girlfriend breaks up with him, his life swirls into a downward spiral of doubt, confusion and reflection. Through delirious fantasies involving his many failed romances, he begins the hard road of self-evaluation to come to terms with life without her."

Murray is not known for joining a cast unless he likes the script and the project, so it's good to know that he believes in the project. He last starred in Get Low, and will be seen next in another Wes Anderson film called Moonrise Kingdom. He is also playing Franklin D. Roosevelt in Roger Michell's Hyde Park on Hudson, which also stars Laura Linney and Olivia Williams.
