Craig Gillespie drops out of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES

Another director has dropped out of Lionsgate's adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Deadline reports that Lars and the Real Girl director Craig Gillespie is officially exiting the project. The adaptation is a mix of the classic 1813 Jane Austen story with a legion of bloodthirsty zombies. Finding a director to helm and actors to cast has plagued this project for awhile now. Gillespie (Fright Night) came in to replace Mike White, who had replaced David O. Russell, who had penned the script. Gillespie's departure had to do with casting the  leads.

I would like to see this film get made, but Lionsgate will have to regroup on this one. As a fan of zombies, I like the idea of them being mixed into a world that we do not normally see them in. Who would you like to see cast in the leads?
