The Cast of THE PRINCESS BRIDE Reunites
Some of the cast of The Princess Bride recently got together for a photo show for an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly. Cary Elwes, Robin Write, Wallace Shawn, Billy Crystal, and Chris Sarandon all got together and did an interview with Good Morning America, where they talked about they film offering up some fun details. Unfortunately Fred Savage and Mandy Patinkin were not present.
In the interview its reveled that Director Rob Reiner's first choice for Vizzini was Danny DeVito, and I'm so glad that didn't happen. It's not that I don't like DeVito, I just think he would have been wrong for the role. I love this flick, one of the best fairy tale films I've ever seen.
