Steven Spielberg in talks for Moses epic GODS AND KINGS

Earlier is was reported that Steven Spielberg might be taking on a film of biblical proportions. Twitch is now reporting that Spielberg and Warner Brothers are in official talks for him to direct the Moses epic Gods and Kings.

The script was penned by Michael Green and Stuart Hazeldine and tells the "entire story of Moses' life, all the way from birth to death, which covers a great number of episodes - the freeing of the Hebrew slaves, the plagues in Egypt, receiving the ten commandments - each of which could easily fill their own film." Spielberg is one of the few directors that can handle epic sized films like this.
