AMC developing UFO-centered series THUNDERSTRUCK

AMC is going from zombies to UFO's with a new show. Deadline reports that the network is developing Thunderstruck with the help of Battlestar Galactica's David Eick. The series will be execc produced by Paul Boardman and Scott Derrickson (writer and driector of The Exorcism of Emily Rose).

The show is described as follows:

"Powerful and enigmatic entities that begin appearing all over the world. After one shows up in the town of Great Falls, Montana, the local citizens must grapple with the dramatic effects and growing mystery of repeated visitations."

AMC is known for picking up a bunch of different projects and then picking hte best shows to put on the air. I hope that this is one of the shows they move forward with. What are your thougths on this news?
