Trailer for THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT starring Emily Blunt and Jason Segel

Here is the trailer for The Five Year Engagement, which stars Emily Blunt and Jason Segel. The film starts off where most romantic comedies end, this film looks at what happens when an engaged couple keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle. Nicholas Stoller directed this film that also stars Chris Pratt, Alison Brie, Mindy Kaling, Jackie Weaver and Rhys Ifans.

Here’s the official synopsis:

The director and writer/star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall reteam for the irreverent comedy The Five-Year Engagement.  Beginning where most romantic comedies end, the new film from director Nicholas Stoller, producer Judd Apatow (Knocked UpThe 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Rodney Rothman (Get Him to the Greek) looks at what happens when an engaged couple, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle.  The film was written by Segel and Stoller.

This movie has a great cast and looks really funny. There were multiple scenes where I laughed out loud, which is a good sign. Let's just hope that the trailer does not give away too much. I am glad to see Pratt, who plays Andy on Parks & Recreation in more movies. Check out the trailer and share your thoughts:
