Image Comics Gives us a Glimpse of a Holmes-less World in MORIARTY

Comic Book Image comics by Wejo

If you’ve ever wondered what Sherlock Holmes’ arch-nemsis Moriarty would do if he actually bested the legendary detective, wonder no more. This May, Image Comics will publish Daniel Corey and Anthony Diecidue’s Moriarty, an on-going look at the life of the “original supervillian” after he manages to defeat Holmes.

“Would Moriarty revel in victory,” Corey asks in a press release, “spend the rest of his life smoking cigars and sleeping on stacks of money?”  Probably not.  I think he’d fall on hard times, and it would take one heck of an event - say, a World War - to jolt him back to life.”

Moriarty #1, dubbed “science fiction noir,” will be available this May for $2.99.
