                 12th ANNUAL TROMADANCE FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES SHORT FILM SELECTION

New York, NY- March 11, 2011- The 12th Annual TromaDance Film Festival have announced the first round of short films selected to screen over the course of the cult two day festival, 22-33 April @ The Showroom Theatre- Asbury Park, New Jersey.

With a record number of entrants and a lengthy screening process, TromaDance Program Director Jonathan Lees announced that the TromaDance Selection Committee have selected the following short films to screen at this year's festival;

This is the 12th year that TromaDance has screened a diverse selection of films from all around the world. TromaDance was created in 1999 by Troma President and Creator of the Toxic Avenger,Lloyd Kaufman, based on an idea from South Park creator Trey Parker.

TromaDance is the first film festival wholeheartedly devoted to filmmakers and fans. Unlike other film festivals, TromaDance does not charge filmmakers to submit their films. Entrance to all screenings is free and open to the public. There is no VIP reservations or preferential treatment regarding films, panels, or parties of any kind given. The organizers of TromaDance believe films are meant to be seen, especially when it comes to new filmmakers. Art - in all its forms - is for the people!
