Matthew Fox to play an Assassin in I, ALEX CROSS

Matthew Fox has just been cast in his first major movie role since LOST's conclusion. He will play an assassin in an upcoming film called I, Alex Ross. He will star along side Ed Burns who was also cast in the film which is based on the book series by James Patterson

Fox will play a bad guy in the film named "Michael Sullivan, who kills both for money and thrills. He’s known as the Butcher of Sligo and shows why after Cross thwarts one of his killing attempts. Sullivan makes his retribution personal, by killing the  detective’s wife in gruesome fashion. Then it becomes a mano a mano battle between them." Burns will play Tommy Kane, the partner of Alex Cross. 

It will be interesting to see Fox play a villain, which is different from anything we've seen him do before. He's got more of a heroic friendly look, which can be deciving. 

The film is being devloped by Tyler Perry, and the script was written by Mark Moss.
