Jake Gyllenhaal in talks to join Gritty Cop Drama END OF WATCH

Jake Gyllenhaal is currently in discussions to be cast in a new cop drama called End of Watch, which will be written and directed by David Ayer.

There aren't many details on the film to share with you right now, but it's being described as a gritty drama that follows the friendship between longtime partners.

Ayer has a lot of experience with this kind of movie genre. He's written scripts for films such as Training Day, S.W.A.T. and Harsh Times, which Ayer also wrote and directed. He most recently directed Keanu Reeves in Street Kings. I love a good cop flick, so this might end up being something to look forward to.

Gyllenhaal recently filmed the Duncan Jones sci-fi thriller Source Code, and it will be interesting to see if he takes on this new project. I can see definitely see him playing a cop. What do you all think?
