Hugh Jackman not starring in SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN

Hugh Jackman willl not be starring in Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman. Last week we reported that Jackman had been offered the lead role of the Huntsman, but now negotiations have ended. Viggo Mortensen was also in negotiations earlier but dropped out.

Universal is really having a difficult time casting the pivotal role in the film. In this feature adaptation, the Huntsman is supposed to kill Snow White, but ends up protecting her, mentoring her and teaching her how to fight and survive. Kristen Stewart will star in the role of Snow White. Charlize Theron is set to play the evil queen.

Universal better hurry up, Huntsman is scheduled to star filming in August to meet it's release date of December 21, 2012. What are your thoughts on this news? Which actor should they find to fill the role?
