Peter Jackson's first video blog from THE HOBBIT set

Here is Peter Jackson's first video blog from the set of The Hobbit. You may recall that Jackson did the same when filming began on The Fellowship of the Ring. This video gives us a look at the Bag End and Rivendale sets, the assembled primary cast (unfortunately not in makeup or costume) and even the beginning of blocking for the sequence where a company of dwarves invades the home of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) at the behest of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen).We even get a look at the goblin tunnels where Bilbo first encounters Gollum (Andy Serkis) and a hint of the wardrobe and weapons being used in the film.
