Theatrical Trailer for TROLL HUNTER
Magnet has released a fun full theatrical trailer for their upcoming Norwegian found footage genre film Troll Hunter. I had a chance to see this movie up at The Sundance Film Festival and I thought it was great, I had a blast watching it! Of course it's completely unbelievable, but it's a movie about giant trolls! Ben P wrote up a review for the movie, but he didn't like it as much as I did. The movie is obviously not for everyone, but if you're into fun ridiculous movies about hunting trolls, then this is the movie for you.
Here's the Synopsis:
The doc jumps off from the concept that the Norwegian government has been hiding the fact that they have a secret population of trolls - real, actual trolls - living on game preserves in the far north of the country, kept safe and secure and out of the public eye to prevent mass panic should people realize that these fairy tale creatures are real. Those high tension power lines you see stretching out over the horizon in unpopulated areas, seemingly going nowhere? Not power lines at all but an electric fence to keep the beasts contained!
The film will be released On Demand on May 6th, and a limited theatrical release on June 10th 2011. Watch the trailer below and tell us what you think!
