Mindy Kaling joins cast of FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT

Mindy Kaling has joined the cast of Nicolas Stoller's new comedy, Five-Year Engagement. She will play a grad student in the couples comedy. The film is currently in production and "charts the five-year engagement of a man (Jason Segel) and his fiancee (EmilyBlunt), following the ups and downs of their relationship." The rest of the cast includes, Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, Rhys Ifans, Lauren Weedman, David Paymer and Jackie Weaver. No release date has currently been announced.

Kaling is best known as a writer and actress on The Office (my favorite comedy on TV). She has also appeared in a number of features such as The 40 Year-Old Virgin and No Strings Attached. She is not only hilarious, but gorgeous in my opinion. I think she will be great in this film and would like to see more of her in more films.
