The cast of Piranha 3DD has been announced today. The film is being directed by John Gulager (Feast) and will star Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, DavidKoechner, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez and Clu Gulager. More cast members will be announced soon. It will be interesting to see if Ving Rhames will return to the sequel.

There’s something in the water . . . again. And this time no one is safe from the flesh eating fish as they sink their razor sharp teeth into the visitors of the best summer attraction, The Big Wet Water Park.

Piranha 3DD arrives in theaters on November 23, 2011. This cast seems fitting for the film. I like Koechner and am sure he will bring some humor to the film. I wonder if there will be as much nudity in the sequel as the first film. Most likely not, I don't see these actresses baring all for the film.

New York, NY, April 25, 2011 – After earning rave reviews from top critics and wild cheers from audiences around the country, Dimension Films has started production on the sequel to PIRANHA 3D.
Principal photography is now underway in Wilmington, NC on PIRANHA 3DD, being directed by John Gulager (FEAST).
