Henry Cavill reveals what he's done to prepare for the role of SUPERMAN

MTV caught up with Henry Cavill while he was WonderCon promoting Tarsem Singh's Immortals. Cavill shared some information about the research he's done so far the role of Superman in Zack Snyder's reboot. Here is what he had to say:

"I'm just picking out as much as I possibly can from the comic book history, because, obviously, it's plastered across there as to who this man is and whatever part of his life you're playing; whatever part of his ultimate journey you're playing, you just need to put into either the building aspects, the building blocks to how he ends up. All those key characteristics that are carried through."

Cavill also confirmed that he and Amy Adams have had a screen test, by saying:

"Yes, there was a screen test and she's a fantastic actress. Very talented. I'm looking forward to working with her."

He went on to share his thoughts on whether the age difference was a factor in the film's plot, saying it's more of a matter of happenstance.

"To be honest, that's a question for the director. But, happenstance," explained Cavill, "I don't think it matters at all."
