According to 30 Rock co-star Alec Baldwin the next season of of the will be its last. Vulture caught up with the actor at the National Dance Institute's annual fund-raising gala last night where the actor had this to say,
I will tell you one thing, and that is our show next year is our last year of the show.
Our contracts are expired [in 2012], and Tina is gonna have a big career directing films and writing. She's going to be the next Elaine May. She'll be great.
Neither NBC or Tina Fey have not commented on what Baldwin said, but it makes sense that the show would end, with Fey wanting to go in the direction of feature films. I loved the show the first couple of seasons, but I think it's gotten a little stale recently. It's not as funny as it used to be, so maybe it's time.
What do you think about 30 Rock ending next season?
