Keanu Reeves developing new Kung Fu Film MAN OF TAI CHI

Movie Keanu Reeves by Joey Paur

47 Ronin isn't the only martial arts movie that Keanu Reeves is looking to work on. He’s also in the process of putting together another kung fu film that he wants to star in and direct called Man Of Tai Chi. A film in which he would play the Villain.

He’s still in the process of trying to get the funding together, but it sounds like he’s prepping up to make a pretty badass martial arts movie.

We want to do it in Chinese and English, do it as kind of a co-production with CFG perhaps, which is a Chinese film group, kind of a studio. It's tricky.

The story for the film would take place in the modern day, but at the same time it would pay homage to the classic kung fu films of the past. The script for the film is already complete and it’s going to have a hell of a lot of kung fu fighting in it.

There's 18 fights. We've timed it out. It's about 40 minutes of fighting. I want to make a good, solid kung fu movie. Good story, good plot — but let's get some good kung fu going!

40 minutes of kung fu fighting!? Hell yeah! I'm a big fan of martial arts movies, and I would love to see Man of Tai Chi actually get off the ground. I'm also excited to see his 47 Ronin movie. Reeves is on a role with the martial arts films. What do you think about his Man of Tai Chi film production.
