Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska Cast in New Vampire Movie

A new untitled vampire film from director Jim Jarmusch (Broken Flowers) is going into production with Tilda Swinton, Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska as vampires in the story. John Hurt was also cast in a feature role in the film.

The story for the film is described by the director as a “crypto-vampire love story”, set against the romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangiers. "I’ve been imagining this film for years.  I can’t wait to now realise it with these remarkable collaborators."

There's never going to be a shortage of Vampire films, but there is going to be a shortage of good vampire films. I have a feeling this movie is going to be a good one. Jarmusch is a solid story teller, and he has got a great cast of actors attached to the film. It will be cool to see how this turns out.
