Here's an alternate French teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's new film The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn. This international trailer pretty much plays out the exact same way as the other trailer, but it has a different opening scene with new footage, so it's worth a look.
I'm very interested to see how this movie does. Director Robert Zemekis has made several movies using this motion capture technology, but they ultimately failed. Of course from what I have seen in these trailers it looks like it will be better than the motion capture films Zemekis has made. I'm excited for this flick.
Here's the Synopsis for the film:
The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn” is the first in the series of 3D motion capture films based on the iconic character created by Georges Remi, better known to the world by his pen name “Herge” and is due for release in 2011. The film stars Jamie Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig as the nefarious Red Rackham. Bell and Craig are joined by an international cast that includes Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook. The second feature in the series is scheduled to be directed by Peter Jackson, with a potential for a third film as well. Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson will bring Herge’s stories to life employing state-of-the-art performance capture technology developed by Jackson’s Weta Digital.
The film comes out on December 23rd 2011. Watch the French teaser trailer below and tell us what you think!
