Paramount Pictures picks up THE HAUNTREPRENEUR

Paramount Pictures is going to pick up a new family horror spec by Scott Rosenberg called The Hauntrepreneur. Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes production company will produce the film. Rosenberg has written films such as Con Air and Gone in Sixty Seconds.

The tone of the film is described as being kind of like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but with a haunted house and ghosts. The story centers on a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town and hires a peculiar man, the Hauntrepreneur, to help it. The man attempts to bring them together by creating a haunted house populated by an odd cast of characters.

Now that sounds like fun idea! I can get on board with this movie concept. They have to cast Doug Jones as the peculiar man. What do you all think?
