Are Melissa McCarthy and Jon Hamm starring in new Feig/Apatow comedy?

Earlier we reported that Bridesmaid's Paul Feig and Judd Apatow were set to re-team for another comedy. At the time we reported this news, we did not have any details about the film. Deadline has found out some more information. It looks like there is a possibility that Melissa McCarthy and Jon Hamm could star in the film.

The film is reportedly an "unconventional love story is about a guy who becomes obsessed with a woman." The roles are being modeled after Hamm and McCarthy. At this early stage, no negotiations have started with the actors, but it makes sense that they would be sought for the roles. I loved McCarthy in Bridesmaids, and would think that Universal and Apatow are trying hard to get her into another film. Hamm (Mad Men) did well in the role of good looking douche in the film, and I would like to see him in more comedic roles.
