Megan Fox and John C. Reilly to cameo in Sacha Baron Cohen's THE DICTATOR

Megan Fox and John C. Reilly are set to make cameos in Paramount’s upcoming Sacha Baron Cohen comedy, The Dictator. Larry Charles (Borat) is directing and the supporting cast includes, Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas. Filming is going on now in  New York for a May 11, 2012 release date.

According to THR, the film is described as "the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed." Cohen plays twp roles, a goat herder and a deposed foreign ruler who gets lost in the U.S. Fox and Reilly's roles are being kept secret at this time.

Fox seems to be taking a break from the action genre, having recently shot the ensemble comedic drama Friends With Kids, directed by Jennifer Westfelt and starring Kristen Wiig and Adam Scott. She also has a role in Judd Apatow’s This Is Forty, which shoots this summer. Reilly was last seen in the indie comedy Cedar Rapids and and the drama We Need to Talk About Kevin, which there is already Oscar buzz for. He is lending his voice to Disney’s animated feature Wreck-It Ralph.

Fox was decent in the somewhat comedic role in Jennifer's Body, so I will give her a chance in this film. Reilly is a always hilarious, so I am excited for the news. What are your thoughts?
