Joel David Moore joins cast of Oliver Stone's SAVAGES

Joel David Moore (Avatar) has joined the cast of Oliver Stones adaptation of Savages for Universal Pictures. Mooer joins the cast that includes, Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Salma Hayek, Benicio del Toro, John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Emile Hirsch. THR reports that Moore will play the role of "an expert computer geek who moves on from a Washington think tank to the marijuana business." The crime drama is based on the 2010 novel written by Don Winslow, who also adapted the screenplay with Shane Salerno and Stone. Savages is being produced by Moritz Borman and Eric Kopeloff 

Moore is best known for roles in films like, Hatchet, Grandmas Boy Avatar and Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. Audiences will see him next in Relativity's Shark Night 3D in September and the Summit thriller Gone in February. I liked him a lot in Avatar and Grandmas Boy.
