Rob Cohen to Take On Yet Another Car Action Flick!

Movie by Billy Fisher
Deadline announced today that Fast and The Furious director, Rob Cohen, is going to take on Bullet Run.  The script for the film was penned by Andrew Hilton and will be produced by Voltage Productions.  Here is the synopsis that deadline gave:
The head of an elite private protection team and his former CIA agent wife infiltrate the closed borders of Iran to abduct a man who killed their daughter. The extraction goes awry and they force to rely on their world-class driving skills and a fleet of high-performance street cars to travel 200 miles through a hail of bullets to keep alive the man they really want dead.
It sounds like a mix of Death Sentence and Death Race.  A lot of death going on here.  I truly enjoyed the original, Fast and the Furious, and I have faith that Cohen can do great with this genre.  I am very interested to see who is going to be cast in this film.  Let us know what you think.
