HBO Developing WWI Miniseries PARADE'S END

HBO has teamed up with BBC to develop a five-part miniseries called Parade's End set in World War I, and based on a series of four books by British novelist Ford Madox Ford. The series will be directed by Susanna White (Generation Kill) from a script written by Shakespeare In Love scribe Tom Stoppard. the series will star Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall in the lead roles. 

The miniseries will tell the story of a "complex and destructive love triangle among a conservative English aristocrat (Cumberbatch), his beautiful but cruel socialite wife (Hall), and a vibrant young suffragette." This sounds like it could be a pretty intense drama, destructive love triangles are never good. 

HBO and BBC have solid programming, so I'm sure this will end up being another great miniseries. This series is set to go into production this fall.
