E3 2011: TOMB RAIDER Gameplay Demo Trailer

Last week Square Enix released an incredible cinematic trailer for their new Tomb Raider game, which got me really excited about the game. Today at E3 Crystal Dynamics revealed an awesome gameplay demo, showing off what it is going to actually be like when we are playing the game, and it looks pretty damn entertaining. I love how gritty and dark this new Tomb Raider game looks, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

The game is a reboot of the franchise that focuses on a reconstructed origin of the culturally influential lead character Lara Croft. Croft is just starting her adventurous career in this new game, and we see a side of her we've never really seen before.

Here's the Synopsis:

Fresh from academy and in search of lost relics, a 21-year-old Lara Croft journeys to an island off the coast of Japan aboard the Endurance, a salvage vessel helmed by Captain Conrad Roth. Before anchoring at bay, the ship is cleaved in two by an unforeseen storm leaving Croft separated from any other survivors and washed ashore. She must endure physical and emotional torture in order to survive the island.

No release date has been set for the game yet, but check out the demo trailer below and tell us what you think!
