DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 - Potter perfection or Dreary Dementor? (Open Discussion)

Movie Harry Potter by

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II continues to break box office records and will be around in theaters for a long time. I was not one of the many people that flocked to the theater for a midnight showing, but my wife and I saw it on Friday in a packed auditorium. I overheard many of my fellow audience members commenting how that Friday evening showing was their second and that they planned to go again. At my theater there were people that literally watched it twice back-to-back!

Having read each book I am actually very happy with the majority of the films. David Yates did a fabulous job of bringing this franchise to a close and was my favorite director of the franchise. With any film adapted from a book you will always miss certain aspects that many fans are upset with. To include everything would mean adding 2 extra hours to a film, perhaps more. Some things are best left in the minds of the reader.

I loved this film and would have to say that it is Potter Perfection! GeekTyrant is interested in hearing your thoughts on the film and your favorite Harry Potter moments from the books and films.
