Exclusive Interview: Actor Alex Feldman Vs. Brian  S

Actor Alex Feldman is the ultimate Hollywood party master in the upcoming Lifetime made-for-TV movie “BLING RING,” based on the real-life burglaries that targeted A-list celebrities  Currently, Feldman is writing and producing the psychological thriller “Eternity Hill,” and co-writing and will star in the feature comedy “All In.” Feldman also teaches acting and was recently named the Creative Director at the notable Acting Studio of Beverly Hills.

Check out my latest Versus to learn more about Alex Feldman, how it is to work with Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton on one of their projects “THE COLLECTOR” , the ultra cool green screen/miniature comedy experience "REPO CHICK" (if you haven't see this, you need too, read my review HERE) and his other films you will be able to see him in soon.

Brian  S-  You have a lot of projects to talk about! First, tell me about your upcoming Lifetime movie "Bling Ring".

Alex Feldman- Bling Ring is a compelling study of celebrity culture and how it affects young people. The film is inspired by true events. I commend Lifetime for taking on such a controversial topic. I have always tried to be very selective with the projects I get involved in. When this part was offered to me, I immersed myself in research and became fascinated with the subject matter as well as my character. This film will strike a chord with a very youthful audience while connecting to parents at the same time.

Brian  S-  When will this be airing?

Alex Feldman-  "Bling Ring" is scheduled to premier on Lifetime on Aug. 1st.

Brian  S-  You was also in Repo Chick which is one of my new favorite comedies! Just had to throw that out there!

Alex Feldman-  "Repo Chick" was a delightful journey into madness. I have always been a fan of writer/director Alex Cox and collaborating with him on this project was an amazing opportunity. His set was a creative playground of green screen, creativity, and political satire. If you are not familiar with the inventive world of Mr. Cox, check this film out.

Brian  S-  You also do some writing and directing, tell me a little about that?

Alex Feldman-  I started writing and directing my own projects about 7 years ago. It was something that came naturally. I never wanted to be the kind of actor who sits around waiting for the phone to ring. Making my own projects seemed logical.

Brian  S-  Which is your favorite genre to work in?

Alex Feldman-  I have had the opportunity to work in many genres. I am driven by story and content more than genre. I also enjoy crossing genres. If I can find a comedic element in a dramatic script or a dramatic element in a comedy, that always excites me. I have had some success in the horror genre and I am very grateful for it.

Brian  S-  Tell me how it is working with Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunston, they have a wild imagination!

Alex Feldman-  Patrick and Marcus have been friends of mine for a long time. When Marcus told me he was directing his first feature and he wanted me to be a part of it, I had no hesitations. Marcus is a very capable director and when he is writing with Patrick, they are able to create a brand that is unique and distinctive. It's so much fun for me to see such disturbing and scary content created by the nicest guys in Los Angeles.

Brian  S- Ok, what can you tell me about The Collector? Any latest word or progress being made? Why do you think it's been so difficult to get this sequel made?

Alex Feldman-  Things don't end well for my character in The Collector. So when the sequel get's going it will be a miracle if I am back. But I am not complaining. I had a blast working on the fist one. I got to kiss a pretty girl and die an ugly death. What more can you ask for.

Brian  S- Do you have any other projects in the works you can talk about?

Alex Feldman- I am currently co-writing a feature comedy titled "ALL IN," in which I will star. I have also partnered up with http://www.actingstudiosbeverlyhills.com/ and am very thrilled to offer opportunities to young actors. I've been teaching acting for the last five years and ASBH has provide a great home for me to share and give back to new talent.

Brian  S-  Do you have a website or Twitter where fans can find you?

Alex Feldman- http://alexfeldman.info and
http://twitter.com/#!/FeldmanAlex

Brian  S-  Would you like to say anything to all the cool people checking this out?

Alex Feldman-  Thank you all for taking the time to read this and thanks for checking out my projects.
