NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH Might be Adding A Hill To The Cast!

Vulture reports that Superbad star, Jonah Hill, is in talks to join Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller in the upcoming comedy Neighborhood Watch.

Here is  a synopsis of the film.

Neighborhood Watch will be directed by the Lonely Island's Akiva Schaffer. (The conceit: Bored marrieds form a suburban watch group, but wind up uncovering an alien-invasion plot. About what you’d expect from screenwriters Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.)

All around this sounds like a fun movie to watch. However, there is a little controversy on why Jonah Hill is holding out on the role.  Here is what was said about this:

We’re told that the slimmed-down star of the forthcoming The Sitter wants to get paid considerably more than his usual quote. One very good reason? Our spies tell us that the trailer forMoneyball recently tested better than any in recent history at Columbia Pictures.

I haven’t seen the Moneyball trailer yet, so I am not sure how mind-blowing Hill’s performance is in the film.  I think that Hill is a funny actor, but I am just not sure he is at that point in his career where he can make money demands.  Let us know what you think.
