BACK TO THE FUTURE: THE RIDE vintage making of video

Here is a cool vintage video that shows the making of the Back to the Future: The Ride at Universal Studios. The video is from YouTube user DacklinYoung. The video shows a much younger Steven Spielberg talking about design of the ride, some cool behind the scenes action and shows a bit of the ride itself. The ride was one of my favorite ones Universal Orlando so its cool checking out this video.

I've heard that an early version of the ride was being directed by Richard Edlund before he was later bought out by Douglas Trumbull's company. I work in the VFX industry and I was on a Motion Control shoot where I met the camera operator for Edlund's version. So, I guess that rumor is true.
