Watch this Crazy Weird Teaser Trailer for ALPS

I have no idea what in the hell is going on in this teaser trailer for the Giorgos Lanthimos directed film Alps. Lanthimos is the same director that made the disturbingly oddball film Dogtooth. Regardless of how mad the film was, it still got an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.

So according to Indiewire the story of Alps "concerns a nurse, a paramedic, a gymnast and a coach who have formed a service for hire: They stand in for dead people by appointment at the behest of relatives, friends or colleagues of the deceased. Everyone operates under a discipline regime demanded by their leader the paramedic, except for the nurse who threatens his rule."

Whoa... so there's no doubt that this new Lanthimos film is going to be another fascinating movie to watch. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think! The film will have its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
