Paul Dano to play an eco-terrorist in Kelly Reichardt's NIGHT MOVES

Paul Dano is set to reteam with his Meek's Cutoff director on a new film about eco-terrorism. The Playlist reports that Dano will star in Kelly Reichardt's Night Moves. The film also will star Peter Sarsgaard, and tells the story of "three environmentalists who are intent on blowing up a dam. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo's Rooney Mara is being sought for a lead, but scheduling factors are being worked out see if she can take the part.

A production date has yet to be set. Night Moves is being produced by Reichardt’s longtime collaborators, Neil Kopp and Anish Savjani under their Film Science shingle. I have yet to see Meek's Cutoff, but I think that Reichardt has the perfect ability to capture such a bleak and serious topic. Dano is a great actor and this cast is shaping up quite nicely. What are your thoughts?
