Michael Ovitz is developing Tom Clancy’s Homeland Security with TNT. THR reports that the project, "a procedural revolving around a team of domestic intelligence operatives who battle enemies at home and abroad." The project is being written by Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Clancy and Chris George.
Ovitz will executive produce, which will be the former Walt Disney Co. topper and CAA co-founder’s first television on-screen credit. Grillo-Marxuach (Lost), George and Clancy will also serve as exec producers. Homeland Security marks a rare TV endeavor for Clancy.
I ama fan off the Jack Ryan films and am interested to see this procedural drama on the small screen. TNT is one of my personal favorite networks aside from AMC and HBO for shows. What are your thoughts on this news?
