FOX Picks up Serial Killer Drama from Kevin Williamson

TV FoxKevin Williamson by Joey Paur

Scream franchise screenwriter Kevin Williamson has sold an original serial killer drama TV pitch to the Fox network. Williamson is doing very well in the world of TV and has brought adaptations of both The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle to the CW. I don't think I will ever find myself watching either of those shows because they simply don't appeal to me.

But, this original untitled serial killer drama idea that Fox picked up sounds pretty damn cool. The show is described as "an edge-of-the-seat thriller about a diabolical serial killer who uses technology to create a cult of serial killers, and the FBI agent who finds himself in the middle of it."

Now that sounds like an interesting hit TV series! Williamson will write and executive produce the project, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. The idea has so much potential to be awesome. What are your thoughts on this series pitch?
