Joss Whedon Developing a Supernatural Romance Film

Writer and director Joss Whedon is currently in post-production on The Avengers, has wrapped an adaptation Much Ado About Nothing, and is already started prepping his next film project. This guy is determined to keep himself busy! This news was revealed in a recently interview with actress Abigail Spencer (Mad Men) who has just officially signed on to star in Whedon's new project. Here's what she had to say in an interview with Vulture,

His next movie, I start that next month. It’s my first time [doing a project with Whedon], but I’ve always wanted to work with him. I’m so excited to do it.

There aren't any major details on the project yet, but she did tease that

It’s the most romantic film in the history of time. It’s a supernatural romance.

With TV shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Whedon's always been good at telling supernatural romance stories, so this sounds like a project that Whedon fans can get really excited about. It will be cool to actually find out what the story to this film is.
