Clive Owen to Star in the Comedy THE KING OF THE CASTLE

Movie Clive OwenComedy by Joey Paur

Clive Owen is set to star in a new comedy called The King of the Castle. The movie is being written and directed by The Sitter scribes Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka, who also recently wrote the script for the Baywatch movie.

The news comes from the LA Times, who says the story "will center on a philanderer who is blackmailed by a teenager." Owen will play the philanderer.

Owen doesn't do much comedy, which makes this film project interesting. Usually we see comedians make the transition into the dramatic acting roles, not the other way around. So it will be fun to see Owen show his comedic side.

What do you think about Owen taking on a comedic role? Do you think he can pull it off? I hope he can!
